The 37th Annual Gala Evening at the Movies to benefit the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America recently honored Chuck Bennett and the late Dr. Jason Bodzin. Roop Raj and Amy Andrews from Fox2 hosted the event. More than 300 Detroiters packed the Maple Theater in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. Dr. Steven Klein, chief of colon and rectal surgery at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak gave a wonderful tribute to his former classmate the late Dr. Bodzin. Rhonda Walker of WDIV and Roop Raj of Fox2 talked glowingly about my friend, Chuck Bennett. They described Chuck as the “man about town, style guru, trendsetter, fashionista, Social D founder, etc.” The best description is that he has a big heart!
